We decided to set aside farmer's market earnings for ten new fruit trees. Our plan is to dedicate these trees to future farmers- from family kids to those we meet through the market.
The first tree planted is for Wyatt Dean Sandoval, who is just a little younger than the Parfianka Pomegranate I planted earlier this week. Wyatt's parents are Andy and Jessica Sandoval and they live in Glendale Arizona. Andy is the son of my brother- Dan Sandoval. We aren't sure Wyatt knows what a Parfianka Pomegranate tastes like....but we are certain his parents do!
Here is a picture of Wyatt and his new tree (guarded faithfully by Max). Stay tuned for more- Wyatt's brother, Michael, has a Braeburn Apple headed our way.
